Erisco Foods Limited is a leading Nigerian food product manufacturer, incorporated in Nigeria in 2004 but started its operations in the year 2009, manufacturing Tomato Paste, Seasoning, Rice, Milk cubes and more.

Erisco is actively recruiting for the position below.

 

Role Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Lagos State.

Role Responsibilities:

 

• You will maintain quality standards and recommend improvement for all stages of processing.
• You will maintain accurate quality assurance records directed by Head Quality Assurance.
• You will be responsible for investigating complaints to determine causes, consult with appropriate production personnel to correct deficiencies.
• You will oversee cleanliness and housekeeping of operation.
• You are required to use, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and supervise as required.
• Ensuring compliance to standards of all incoming and outgoing materials, ingredients and packaged products.
• Assisting in development of new products and or line extenders as required.
• Ensuring that all food safety standard is maintained.
• Conducting process and plant audit.
• Ensuring compliance with government regulations.
  Ensure all labels, nutritional information and manufacturing data are correct.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

• Hold a B.Sc, B.Tech in Biochemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Food Science Technology and Science or any equivalent discipline.
• Three years of relevant work experience in Plant Quality Control and Assurance.
• Knowledge of Food Safety and Food Quality is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours and accept additional responsibility is required.
