National Sales Manager Job at Erisco Foods Limited

 

Erisco Foods Limited is a leading Nigerian food product manufacturer, incorporated in Nigeria in 2004 but started its operations in the year 2009, manufacturing Tomato Paste, Seasoning, Rice, Milk cubes and more.

Erisco is actively recruiting for the position below.

 

Role Title: National Sales Manager

Location: Lagos State.



Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for meeting with key clients, assisting Regional Sales Managers and Sales Executives with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals
  • Meeting up with demand and supply of company’s products, economic indicators, changing trends and its competitors.
  • Responsible for forecasting and planning sales by product line.
  • Monitoring of cost(s) in relation to prevailing competition, and if necessary, adjust the price of selling.
  • Development of effective sales strategy in liaison with management and ensure timely implementation.
  • Leading market channel development activities and coordinates sales distribution by identifying and establishing sales territories, quotas and goals.
  • Monitoring and give appraisal to the activities of Regional Sales Managers.
  • You will initiate, build and establish professional networks across the regions.
  • You will actively participate in the recruitment and training of Sales employees for effective delivery.
  • You will be responsible for participating in market strategy building by providing useful information from sales activities.
  • Handling all the distributors & strategic partners, including order planning, credit limits, relationship management, and ensure increased profitability for the company
  • You are to Create and develop programs for national sales and ensure its implementation. Develop action plans for field sales.
  • Ensuring the successful achievement of the company’s sales goals across all the regions.
  • Ensuring sales volume is at its maximum, maintaining product mix, and selling price.
  • You will versee company’s sales performance at regional levels.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Candidate must be between the ages of 38 to 45 years.
  • Hold a BSc / HND Business Administration, Marketing or any equivalent course.
  • An Advance degree would be a plus (MBA)
  • Minimum of ten postgraduate cognate work experience.
  • Five years of experience work in reputable Food and Beverage company.
  • Proven work experience as a National sales manager
  • Previous experience in managing a high-performance sales team
  • You should have good customer base in the food product sales sector.
  • Preferred candidate must be a member of Nigeria Institute of Marketing.
