They specialize in the assembly, distribution and sales of consumer electronics from major brands such as - Samsung, Panasonic, Royal, Skyworth, Electrolux, Bosch, Philips and Powermatic. SIMS Nigeria Limited operate several branches that cut across various Nigeria’s geopolitical zones in major business cities like Lagos, Port-Harcourt, FCT, Onitsha, Enugu, Uyo in Akwa Ibom state and Kano.

Role Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Anambra, Enugu and Lagos State.
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative and innovative strategies that would expand the company's customer and dealership base.
- Ensure sustainable strong presence in your territory and region.
- Achieve customer and dealer acquisition.
- Growth revenue targets by effectively managing and motivating sales team.
- Identify emerging markets and market shifts within your territory and region.
- Provide management and sales team with updated information on competitor activities and status.
- Cultivate effective business relationships with executive decision makers in key dealer and trade accounts.
- Build and promote long-lasting customer relationships by effectively partnering with customers.
- Providing quick resolutions to customers and dealers issues.
- Control expenses and manage budgets and effectively monitor inventory.
- Diligently assist with branch operational daily activities.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have obtained a minimum of a B.Sc / BA or equivalent in Sales / Marketing or any other related course.
- A post-graduate MBA degree would give you an edge.
- Experience in sales of consumer Electronics and Home Appliances is required.
- A minimum of ten years sales experience in a sale driven environment
- A minimum of five years experience in the Electronics & Home Appliances industry
- A motivating individual with strong leadership and coaching skills.
- Candidate must be well grounded with routes in the location of interest.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and managing a sales team.
- Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Suitable candidate must be within the ages of 35 to 45 of age.
- Must be competent in the use of MS Suite; especially Excel & Power-point.
- Verifiable experience with an ERP software would give you an edge.
