Role Title:  Telesales Representative
Location: Lagos State

 

Role Responsibility:



•    Responsible for contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service using scripts
•    Responsible for answering questions about products or the company
•    Responsible for asking questions to understand customer requirements and close sales.
•    Expected to direct prospects to the field sales team when needed
•    Entering and updating customer information in the database
•    Taking and processing product quantity in an accurate manner
•    Handling grievances to preserve the company’s reputation
•    Expected to the extra mile to meet and exceed sales quota and facilitate future sales
•    Responsible for keeping records of calls and sales and note useful information

 

Required Qualification:



•    A graduate degree holder in any relevant discipline.
•    Demonstratable experience as telesales representative or other sales and customer service position
•    Verifiable track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
•    Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
•    Outstanding knowledge of English, communication and interpersonal skills
•    Excellent knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems
•    Should be able to learn about products and services faster and describe and explain them to prospects
•    Must be cool-tempered and possess the ability to handle rejection
