Role Title: Area Sales Manager

Location: Uyo, Akwa Ibom and Calabar, Cross River States.




Role Responsibilities:

  • Work together with management and customers for effective delivery of our products.
  • Expected to carryout Price Check, Competition check, new development affecting the business, etc.
  • Supervising the team’s performance and provide feedback to them on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with the Marketing team to execute and track activities in the territory.
  • Ensuring optimization of team effort towards the achievement of territory objective.
  • Monitor, coach and train his team on the job to better sell and merchandize our products.
  • Make daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly plans for the territory with clear KPIs
  • Expected to manage distribution and effective use of allocated resources.
  • Supervise performance and guide staff assigned to their territory.
  • Provide weekly and monthly sales forecasts for the assigned territory.
  • Executing the sales and marketing plan for the territory as agreed with the Branch Manager.
  • Responsible for planning and delivering the monthly sales targets for his territory.
  • Achieving availability of our products at the Distributors’ outlets.
  • Expected to identify, create and execute opportunities with Distributors to increase sell-in and sell-out.
  • Required to effectively manage the resources allocated for Sales operations of his assigned territory.
  • Supervise distributors’ turnover and stocks on a weekly basis and ensure that the various SKUs are available and that the Distributors meet their monthly targets.
  • Development and execution of action plans in case the Distributors falls short on their monthly target.
  • Development and execution of a training plan for the team liaising with the Region Training Manager).

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Candidate must be 35 years or below.
  • Hold a minimum of HND.
  • Five years Sales experience preferably in FMCG setting.
  • Possess Territory Management Skills (customer/outlet mapping, call/route plan, volume planning, NND, Market Analysis).
  • Candidate should be competent in building and maintaining Strong Customer Relationship.
  • Competence in Information tracking, Sales analytics and power point presentation.
