Role Title: Construction Project Manager
Location: Lagos State
Role Responsibility:
- Drafting and submitting budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
- Management of costs in order to meet budget
- Provision of direction over contracts and subcontracts
- Management of construction schedule and activities
- Responsible for ensuring the timely and costly completion of construction projects by overseeing all phases of the project.
- Working with a variety of stakeholders to schedule and plan work, coordinate equipment and materials, operate within budget, and monitor overall progress.
- Required to determine and define scope of work and deliverables
- Predicting resources needed to complete project
- Responsible for obtaining necessary permits, approvals, and other regulatory prerequisite
- Required to coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
- Required to issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- You are to make sure that work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Selection and management of subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Required to coordinate efforts across entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
Required Qualification:
- Posses Project Management Professional Certification
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture
- Proven knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles
- Should be able to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs
- At least five years of experience in project management within construction
- You should be comfortable reading and understanding blueprints and drawings
- Competence in Microsoft Office and general computer software
