Role Title: Finance Associate
Location: Lagos State.
Role Responsibilities:
- Daily booking of Easy-Buy revenue and accounting.
- Assist in the filing of VAT Returns and WHT as well as reconciliation of the same
- Account reconciliation with payments done via online stores including Jumia, Konga, Flutterwave etc
- Responsible for the confirmation of Customer Receipts and follow up on Customer Accounts that are overdue.
- Maintenance filing systems of all accounting and finance documents and vouchers in a manner which ensures ease in retrieval and reference.
- Collate and process all agent’s variable and fixed based compensation and incentive
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations of Cash, Bank and Mobile Money Accounts.
- Reconciling and adjusting of accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions and subsequent matching of the same.
- Verification vendor and customer Accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Responsible for attending to retailers and distributors payment issues and following up for closure
- Respond to issues arising from payment from different channels timely.
- Responsible for the disbursement of petty cash by recording entry; and verifying documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of two years work experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Ability to work with strict deadlines, with minimal or no supervision.
- Proficiency in Data Entry and Management.
- Eloquent in spoken and written English language
- Competence in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent Analytical and Communication skills
- Candidate must be honest and of high integrity.
