Role Title:  Audit Supervisor

Location: Lagos State and FCT, Abuja.

Role Responsibility:

•    Evaluation and enhancement of internal controls to improve operational efficiency.
•    Reviewing automated audit work paper prepared by the audit staff to ensure sound audit theory and compliance with the department’s methodology.
•    You will be responsible for the daily supervision of audit staff and responsible for the development of audit staff and completion of performance evaluations.
•    Responsible for overseeing audit planning, field work, and audit reporting, prepares report, and communicates findings and recommendation to line and senior management.
•    Evaluation of performance of audit staff and provide appropriate feedback.
•    Assisting in risk assessment and mitigation activities.
•    Organizing of trainings for audit team for skill development.
•    Coordinating with team to review audit findings.
•    Development of annual audit plan and coordinate audit activities.
•    You will oversee audit planning and reporting activities according to established policies.
•    Monitor audit teams to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
•    Preparation of reports with audit findings and recommendations.
•    Assisting in the development of budgets and timelines for upcoming audits.
•    Evaluation of current audit procedures and timelines for upcoming audits.

 

Required Qualification:

•    Possess a BSc in Accounting, Finance, or any relevant field
•    Must be a Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA)
•    Must possess four years Post ICAN with at least 2 years hands-on leadership in a medium-sized audit firm.
•    Excellent Knowledge of GAAP & IFRS
•    Candidate must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of external audit, Nigerian tax, and financial consultancy
•    Excellent analytical and reporting skill
