Recruitment: Territory Sales Officer at Lumos

 

Lumos is a leading renewable energy company that offers clean and affordable solar power to a market of 1.3 billion potential customers who live off the electricity grid. Lumos enables people to replace hazardous and expensive kerosene generators and lanterns with modern solar electricity that can power lights, cellphones, fans, computers, TVs, and other small electronic devices

Lumos is actively recruiting for the position below.

 

Role Title:  Territory Sales Officer

Location: Lagos State.

 

Role Responsibility:

 

  • Responsible for the escalation of customer related issues to the right channel.
  • You are to make sure that channel partners are making stock available and distributing in the entire territory.
  • Driving of market initiatives to achieve sales targets in the territory.
  • Responsible for the availability of stock in assigned territory.
  • Ordering and ensure re-ordering level is followed.
  • Weekly performance monitoring of Sales executives and initiating corrective actions where required
  • You would ensure adequate availability of stocks throughout the territory in all outlets.
  • Responsible to constantly identify opportunities for driving activation, Usage, using other sales channels within the territory.
  • Making sure of proper display of all communication and merchandising in POS/across channels
  • Render effective customer and product education to drive customer acquisition
  • Ensure sales executives are properly dressed and of good conduct
  • Availability of communications material always.
  • Render adequate support for customer relationship in the area.
  • Ensure effective and timely communicate all changes in product and services to Sales executives shop managers and TPs.

 

Required Qualification:

 

  • Graduate degree in any relevant field.
  • Ability to use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Minimum of three years Sales experience in the Solar market.
  • Local Knowledge and experience of the environment.
  • Proven experience managing activation team and sales agents would be a plus.
  • Excellent Technical Selling knowledge
  • Must have planning and Time Management skills
  • Candidate must have the ability to work with minimum direct supervision
  • Must possess excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills
