Role Title:  Backend Developer

Location: Lagos.

 

Role Responsibility:

 

• Responsible for the server side of web applications.
• Develop and maintain functional and stable web applications
• Working closely with engineers to ensure system consistency and improve user experience.

 

Required Qualification:

• Two years work experience in Java / Java Spring Development using Java Spring Boot, Hibernate, JAX-WS, JAX-RS
• Bachelor's degree / HND in Computer /System / Electrical / Electronic Engineering / Applied physics / Computer Science or a related discipline
• Agile exposure (SCRUM or Kanban)
• Conversant with RDBMS, web frameworks, MS AZURE, HTML / CSS / JAVASCRIPT
• Sound understanding of Software Development Lifecycle.
• Conversant with standard User Interface Design and Development
• Must be experience in building data capture or workflow applications with rich user interaction and business logic
• WCF / Web Services and XML is a plus
• Experienced in Java (Object Oriented Programming)
• Ability to use Rapid application development tool would be a plus i.e. AutoMapper, Resharper, Repository Pattern
• Competence in working with various J2EE Technologies using Hibernate, Structs MVC Framework, Servlets, AJAX, Web Services and ANT
• Experienced in implementing Java EE Design Patterns such as MVC, Singleton, Session Faade, DAO, DTO
• Experienced in developing Web Services / RESTful API using SOAP, JAX-WS, JAX-RS
• Experienced in Configuring and deploying applications on Tomcat Server
• Proven experience in Relational Database Management System i.e. MySQL, MSSQL
• Show ability to work with Javascript / Front-End frameworks i.e. JQuery, AngularJS, Bootstrap
• Standard knowledge of HTML 5 /CSS 3
• Experienced in Spring Framework such as Spring MVC, IOC, AOP and Spring JDBC
• Experienced with Spring IO, Spring Boot with Thymeleaf
• Ability to collaborate using GIT source control
• Candidate must be conversant with popular Relational Database Management System i.e. MSSQL Server, MYSQL, POSTGRESS
• Proven experience in user Interface and development using Intellij IDEA
• Previous experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and LINQ (Database Design, Management and Querying)
