Role Title:  Construction Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos State

 

Role Responsibility:

 

  • Carryout investigation and evaluation of new potential suppliers, recommending those most desirable to senior management.
  • Request and review supplier quotations from a commercial standpoint.
  • Expected to expedite and ensure timely deliveries.
  • You would be responsible for negotiating with partners for the recovery of defect products during the warranty period.
  • Expected to maintain supplier relationships and master data.
  • Engage in financial reporting.
  • Expected to liaise with project managers to set and maintain budgets.
  • Expected to process requisition data
  • Carryout periodic negotiation of material rates.
  • You would be responsible for negotiating with partners for the recovery of defect products during the warranty period.

 

Required Qualification:

 

  • Hold suitable academic qualification
  • Three years of experience in the construction industry preferable
  • Proven experience and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
  • Competence in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Should be able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Should be able to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Possess the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Possess the ability to work well with management and staff at all levels

Required Qualification:
