Role Title: Fleet Manager

Location: Lagos State.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Tracking fleet usage and maintain accurate inventories of equipment
  • Analyzing maintenance costs and providing recommendations on fleet utilization and replacement
  • Supervising and ensuring fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for providing leadership and effective communication to management, employees and other stakeholders
  • Maintenance and supervision of data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.
  • You are required to ensure the maintenance records for all fleet and heavy equipment assets are accurate and updated
  • Maintaining knowledge and utilization all fleet information and user surveys to forecast new requirements.
  • Maintaining of estimate collation and documentation report
  • Expected to assist in the development of maintenance budgets by providing input relative to policies, costs, established metrics, and projections
  • Collaborating with other departments on cross-department initiatives
  • Communicates maintenance requirements to ensure maximum efficiency and implement corrective actions as required
  • Driving management through regular monthly pep-talk and mentoring

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent course
  • Certification in Logistics and transport management would give you an edge.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Minimum of eight years relevant working experience in fleet management, mechanical maintenance, preventative maintenance, budget administration, contract management, and tendering procedures.
  • Candidate must meet all internal and local regulatory requirements to drive.
  • Resourceful candidate with excellent interpersonal skills to relate with people across different social strata.
  • Possess the ability to adapt to different types of habitation.

Role Title: Fleet Supervisor

Location: Lagos State.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Updating of cash fueling data for analysis purposes.
  • Supervising and Ensuring fleet operation in compliance with local and state rules and regulations.
  • Ensure reduction of fleet downtime to 48hrs per month
  • Maintaining knowledge and utilization of all fleet information and user surveys to forecast new requirements.
  • Driving the management through monthly pep-talk
  • Accident and incident assessment and report compilation for claim settlement
  • Renewal of vehicle documents in line with fleet software
  • Carryout fleet inspection and utilization report
  • You are required to distribute fleet accessories and documents to respective companies
  • Maintenance and supervision data management system to organize fleets as per various schedules and requests.

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or any equivalent discipline.
  • Five years of experience in a related position in a FMCG company
  • Ability to adapt to different types of environment.
  • Certification in Logistics and transport management would give you an edge
  • Resourceful individual with good interpersonal skills to relate with people across different social strata.
