Role Title: Customer Service Executive

Location: FCT, Abuja, Gombe, Kaduna, Kano, Plateau States.




Role Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of periodic sales report on the business activities within the territory.
  • Responsible for conducting market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Negotiating and closing deals and handling complaints or objections.
  • Required to actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, social media and other avenues.
  • Providing technical, marketing and sales support to the Company’s customers.
  • Responsible for conducting product demonstrations and training to users and to Partners’ employees.
  • Responsible for conducting visitation to customers to promote sales and maintain good customer relationship.
  • Required to report on Customers’ feedback and complaints.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Hold a minimum of HND / B.Sc in any relevant field
  • At least one-year sales experience or any other similar position

Finance Assistant Job opening at Action Against Hunger

In the last 40 years, the humanitarian and development organization has been on the front lines, treating and preventing hunger in well close to 50 countries, serving over 21 million people in 2018 alone.

AAH is actively recruiting for the position below.

 

Role Title: Finance Assistant

Location: Jigawa State.

 

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Visiting the fields during various program and activities to make payments.
  • Supporting the program’s cash transfer implementation.
  • Expected to review all documents submitted for payments. That is Photocopy, original, pro forma, translation, date, signature, stamp, and terms used, accuracy of calculations etc.
  • Clearing and releasing cash advances with logistics and programs.
  • Ensuring that Logistics and PMs comply with the supply chain guidelines.
  • Responsible for checking that all invoices and supporting documents and their amount corresponds to the cash voucher total value.
  • Visiting the fields during various program and activities to make payments.
  • Supporting the program’s cash transfer implementation.
  • You will be required to verify and cross-check all base monthly financial documents are correctly allocated & completed as per AAH archiving guidelines
  • Assisting Base Finance Officer in archiving financial files as per AAH archiving guidelines
  • Responsible for photocopying and filing all the invoices and documents ( i.e base financial books) according to the monthly base book-keeping before sending to Capital office for archiving.
  • Maintenance of bank, supplier contracts, PAYE, vendor and all other finance relevant contracts in finance department.
  • Expected to respect AAH purchasing procedures as per KLV3 when giving an advance and to report to Finance Officer and Finance Manager if these procedures are not respected.
  • Liaising with Log department for any discrepancy and missing procedures.
  • Making payments and verifying the consistency of supporting documents submitted in accordance with the AAH procedures.
  • You are to ensure all invoices are accurate, consistent and signed.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree and HND in Accounting, Management, Finance or any equivalent qualifications
  • Possession of an MBA or similar higher qualification would be an asset
  • At least a year experience in a related position.
  • At least one year of experience in any Administration, HR, Finance, Logistics role
  • Ability to manage stress effectively, juggle competing priorities, balance various programmatic, logistic and team needs.
  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, ability to negotiate, influence, give effective feedback, and an efficient team player.
  • Proven experience working in an INGO.
  • Demonstrated experience working with donor-funded programs.
  • Previous experience work in a supervising or managerial position.
