Role Title:  Capacity Building Manager

Location: FCT, Abuja.

 

Role Responsibility:

 

• Responsible for developing tailored MEL capacity development plans, and coordinate the delivery of demand-driven TA, training, and mentoring to partner organizations to strengthen partner MEL capacity.
• Coordinate and working closely with the field team.
• Would be required to facilitate institutional and organizational TA needs assessments of organizational stakeholders
• Oversee the design and implementation of demand-driven MEL technical assistance (TA) interventions
• Assessing and offering effective remedies for MEL capacity gaps among USAID’s partners as well as SoCha’s own local partners.

 

Required Qualification:

• Hold a master's degree in International Development, Public Administration, Organizational Development or a related area.
• Minimum of four years of demonstrated experience in leading MEL capacity building, facilitation, and training and technical assistance to a diverse range of stakeholders
• Previous experience and familiarity developing and utilizing capacity and performance assessment diagnostic tools
• Previous experience in leading design and measurement of strategy.
• Technical expertise in monitoring, evaluation, and learning frameworks.
• Proven experience working on USAID-funded programs with multiple stakeholders
• Proven experience in training, support and mentorship of local staff.
• Preferred candidate should be proficient in written and spoken English.

• Monitoring the manufacturing processes.
• In-charge of scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
• Analyzing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
• Ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Working closely with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
• Responsible for diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Would be required to establish safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account, and that also minimize the carbon footprint.
• Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
• Ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
• Working closely with other engineers to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labor required.
• Responsible for diagnosing problems in the production line and providing recommendations and training.
• Responsible for identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
• Expected to draw up production schedules and budgets for projects.

 

Required Qualification:

• Hold a degree in Engineering
• Possession of a master's degree is desirable
• At least one-year work experience
• Proven experience with CAD software.
• Competence in the use of MS Office.
• Previous working experience in the engineering field.
