Role Title:  Network Administrator

Location: Lagos State

 

Role Responsibility:

 

• Supporting and administering of third-party applications
• Ensuring network security and connectivity
• Specifying system requirements and design solutions
• Carryout research and making of recommendations on server system administration
• Supervising of network performance (availability, utilization, throughput, goodput, and latency) and test for weaknesses
• Required to define network policies and procedures
• Assist, configure, maintain and upgrade corporate customer's networks and in-house servers
• Responsible for installation and integrating of new server hardware and applications
• Setting up of user accounts, permissions passwords
• Resolving of problems as reported by end user

 

Required Qualification:

 

• Hold a BSc degree in Computer Science or any suitable course
• Two years relevant experience in a network administrator position
• Proven experience in networking, routing and switching
• Sound knowledge of best global practices around management, control, and monitoring of server infrastructure
• Proven experience with firewalls, Internet VPN's remote implementation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution is desired
• Possess the ability to set up and configure server hardware
• Sound knowledge of backup and recovery software and methodologies
