Role Title: Associate

Location: Lagos State.



Role Responsibilities:

 

  • You will be responsible for generating required reports in preparation for client meetings and arrange for execution of such documentation by the directors and shareholders as may be needed.
  • You will provide needed support to direct reports, by coordinating with the clients to schedule and represent the firm at Board and Annual General Meetings, and conferences calls.
  • You will assist the senior associate in handling with appreciable skill, the drafting and review of contracts and other legal documentation including letters, memorandum, reports, internal notes etc. 
  • You will regularly conduct legal compliance audit on the company and rendering returns with the Corporate Affairs Commission, Securities and Exchange Commission among other as may be required from time to time.
  • Provide needed assistance with the review and negotiation of commercial contracts.
  • Actively participate clientsmeetings, understanding the issues and proffering a possible way of action to deal with the instructions of the client.
  • Preparation of clients meeting notes and sharing with the appropriate parties.
  • Provision of needed support to direct reports, to conduct meetings, negotiations and discussions on legal transactions, disputes, regulatory and compliance issues; understanding the issues involved and preparation of detailed reports.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in any relevant course
  • Three years working experience
  • IT or Intellectual property, data protection, Fintech experience
  • Previous working experience in corporate and commercial law.

Role Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos State.



Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor and management of balance sheet, month end, bank and control account reconciliations
  • Management of the company's financial affairs and general bookkeeping
  • Regular monitoring and management of several company bank accounts.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual tax returns and other regulatory submissions.
  • Preparation of the year end statutory accounts and supporting packs
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Managing relationship with external stakeholders, ensuring that appropriate reports and documentations are submitted to and updated with PENCOM, FIRS, and Corporate Affairs Commission among others.
  • Regularly manage the accounting system, bank accounts, creditors, budgeting and forecasting
  • Manage entries on the general ledger including reconciliations and completing detailed reviews of the profit and loss account on the company accounting system.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of Profit and Loss and Balance sheet reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in any related field
  • Three years relevant work experience.
  • Possess systems implementation skills.
  • Mobility: Ideally you will have worked in a service industry company with Construction beneficial. Due to our client's semi-rural location you must have a vehicle.
  • Verifiable experience in the assessments of clients needs and goals, guiding clients towards a profitable and secure financial decision.
  • Excel understanding of MS Excel.
  • Have SME background, maybe ACCA/AAT certified.
  • Previous experience in preparing financial documents such as information Memorandum and teasers for Organizations seeking to divest equities.
  • Must be experienced in providing strategic financial advisory services on investment and divestment opportunities.
